Pete Nelson

Pete Nelson serves as the President of Mother’s Organics, Inc., an organics recycling company with operations in Tampa and Lakeland. Mr. Nelson has been affiliated with Wheels of Success since 2004. After graduating from Clarkson University with a B.S. in Engineering & Management in 1995, Mr. Nelson worked in the electrical industry as a Sales and Marketing Engineer with Eaton Corporation and in the telecommunications industry as a regional sales manager with Acterna Corporation. Mr. Nelson then graduated from the University of Florida in 2002 earning his M.B.A., with a concentration in security analysis and real estate. Following business school and prior to his current role at Mothers Organics, Mr. Nelson was employed as a Vice President with SunTrust Bank where he managed corporate relationships and was responsible for business development efforts with local Tampa companies.

Mr. Nelson is a member of the Board of Directors of Wheels of Success and has served in various volunteer capacities with Tampa Connections, Big Brothers Tampa Bay, United Way and Habitat for Humanity.

Mr. Nelson, his wife, Rhonda, and his daughter, Carlie, reside in South Tampa.
